Depending on if the grid is connected, the set-up is a standalone or it is a hybrid installation, it will have different types of balancers. They may include mounting racks, hardware, electrical wiring, an inverter, batteries and a generator.

Several panels are hooked up together to create the array. The generator produces a direct flow that the inverter converts to a useable current of power. Any left-over energy is sent to a storage unit, to be sold or used later. The storage unit may be a set of batteries, or simply the grid. The client can choose between the two methods of installing solar power, depending on their amount of available space. They are mounted either to the roof or installed on the ground, whichever receives more direct sunlight. The roof is a more space efficient method for many homeowners. On the yard, they may be upgraded to track the sun as it passes through the sky.

When one chooses to have solar electric systems installed for their household, they must consider first the limitations of their space. They may need to install their panels to the roof, even though they may have preferred the yard. The client also must go with a trustworthy and efficient brand of materials, as the panels are important to the amount of power they may acquire. The boards may operate at 11-15 percentage of power, though it is possible to locate some as high as 19 percent. Either way, the client will save money by utilizing this green energy source.
